Madison Avenue Baptist Academy uses A Beka Book curriculum for all classes, including the
high school. A Beka Book is written and published by Pensacola Christian College. All
books, papers and DVD's (for high school instruction) are A Beka Book. Having a consistent
curriculum helps the academy students maintain a recognizable learning experience every
year.
If you are interested in transferring your child, we would advise you to look at the curriculum
so that you can know what your child would be required to know for his or her grade level.

Testing
Each year, every student is tested to see if they are where they should be, academically.
These tests are called the Stanford Achievement Tests. Students are tested over a three
day period. Both the academy and parents receive a copy of the students results.

The academy has requirements for students to move on to the next grade level. To be
eligible to move on to the next grade level, students must demonstrate an appropriate
maturity level along with satisfactory grades.
For sports teams, students must meet eligibility requirements to stay on their team. If a
student fails to meet these requirements, they must be removed from the team until
their grades are brought back up and can be reevaluated.
